Paul
Safr
Paul Safr is a Canadian
who developed his first patent, in his spare time, creating
the original live-fire tactical training round that
could fully function in a self-loading firearm.
Paul has since developed several patents in the same
field. After several years in the U.S., Paul moved
back to Canada to develop his skills as an illustrator,
animator and video producer. Since the field of
Non Linear Editing was still new and highly technical,
Paul developed a foundation of skills related to computer
based hardware and operating systems. Paul joined
a multimedia firm in the mid 90’s and successfully produced
numerous marketing videos and promotional items related
to sales; such as packaging and print materials. During
this time Paul also wrote a software package for processing
video and creating special effects.
Paul later began his own IT services
company leveraging his knowledge of computers, operating
systems and programming. Paul has skills in computer
hardware and software including computer assembly, installation
and repairs. His software skills extend to coding,
creating customized software for specialized applications,
inventory management systems, bar-code scanners and
printers and other manufacturing related software and
systems.
Paul has an interest in green technology
and alternate energy. Paul brings years of experience
in IT to the company and will be instrumental in implementing
the hardware and software required for GreenTech Fixtures
to track orders, inventory, and to efficiently operate
the build-on-demand assembly of our induction lighting
fixtures. |

L.
Michael Roberts - CTO
L. Michael Roberts is a Canadian and after moving
to Toronto from his home overseas, he founded his
own sound and lighting company and then became the
first in Canada to offer laser display services.
Michael’s successful career in lasers let him to seeking
up-and-coming technology opportunities as part of
his mandate as director of Research for a Canadian
High-tech company. During his investigations,
he became interested in electrodeless magnetic induction
lamps.
He located and imported samples
of first-generation lamps and ballast from Chinese
suppliers in 2005 and conducted extensive testing.
The results of his work lead to the founding of the
first induction lighting importer and distributor
in Canada. Michael worked with the factories
in China to make improvements to Induction Lighting
technology and provided designs and advice for fixtures
that would suit the needs of the North American market.
He published “The Science Behind
Induction Lighting” which has been widely plagiarized
by induction lighting distributors around the world.
In 2006, an induction lamp Highbay fixture he designed
won the “Innovative Product Award” from the Huron
Manufacturers Association. Michael is also the
author of the soon-to-be-published "The
Induction Lighting Handbook" the only technical
manual in the field.
Michael has developed face-to-face
relationships with all of the major induction lighting
factories in China and been retained to perform technical
evaluations on their products. He continues
to visit the factories an average of twice a year
and stays in contact with engineers, researchers and
academics working in the field of magnetic induction
lighting.
Michael is an inventor with granted
and pending patents, a number of them in the Magnetic
Induction Lighting field. He has licensed his
technology to GreenTech and a number of Chinese factories
who build products based on his Intellectual Property.
He has worked closely with Induction Lighting
distributors in NAFTA and internationally on solving
technical issues, developing educational and technical
literature, providing training and technical support
for the distributors, testing and R&D activities.
Michael
will act as Chief Technology Officer for GreenTech
Fixtures. The photo shows him holding an early
prototype of his Compact Induction Lamp™.

Brandon
Irish - Director
Brandon's successful
managerial background in the construction industry and
electronic appliances distribution industry, led him
to the energy market in 2004. He began working
on exploration and development projects in Colorado
and Texas. Mr. Irish has been involved in all
phases of the oil and gas industry including in-field developmental
drilling prospects in East, West, Central and Southern
Texas.
Brandon founded
SCG Energy to capitalize on the growing demand for
domestically produced energy supplies and started a
private investment portfolio including the
Fayetteville shale natural gas field, and projects in
Arkansas.
Currently Brandon is focusing on developing clean,
renewable and conserving energy solutions to suit an
expanding demand for green technology solutions.
He views induction lighting as a natural fit to
complement heat-pumps and other energy reduction or
energy production technologies. |

Neo
Yang - Director
Mr. Yang was born in
Kunming, Yunnan Province, China and is a native Mandarin speaker.
His interest in green technology led to his hiring as the Chinese
representative of Fibro Light in 2006. He has worked on
various projects, including engineering calculations for the prototype
vertical axis wind turbine, and was the point of contact between
the head office in Canada and Chinese suppliers. He was
able to find products and components needed for company projects
and to arrange the purchase and shipping of the parts. Neo
is a Certified SolidWorks Professional and has created mechanical
drawings and 3D models for fixtures designs.
Neo has been working in the induction lighting
field for more than 3 years and has accompanied Mr. Roberts on
his visits to factories and suppliers. He has visited the
major manufacturers many times and has good working relationships
with the management and engineering staff of the factories.
Neo has provided technical translation at meetings and in written
communications with suppliers. He has acted as an interface
between NAFTA induction lighting distributors and factories to
resolve technical and other issues as he can easily call them
and speak with them in their native language.
Mr. Yang provides us with the opportunity to
deal with smaller factories, which do not speak English and have
no export division, so that we can obtain unique products on favorable
terms. |
